A Message from the Principal…

Welcome to Parris South Elementary, the first Leader in Me Lighthouse School in the state of Tennessee. We have an outstanding faculty and staff that is committed to building a culture where students can demonstrate their leadership skills and achieve academic success. Our students live by our motto “Love to Learn, Live to Lead”. Working together with students, their families, and community members we can make a difference in our community, school and home.

Todd Harrison, Principal

Our Motto: “Love to Learn and Live to Lead” — A Leader in Me School

Parris South established itself as a Leader in Me School in 2012 as a commitment to teaching “The Seven Habits of a Highly Effective Person” and building a leadership environment for our students, parents and staff.  We strive every day to provide a strong balance of building the academic, physical, emotional and leadership potential of our students.  By partnering with parents, staff and our wonderful local community, we are proactively preparing our students for career readiness.

Leadership Starts Here

Our highly qualified staff members desire to educate the whole child through engaging in learning activities and personal connections with families. We take pride in our partnerships with local organizations to promote the Leader in Me Program and the desire parents have for their students to attend Parris South.  You can learn more about our Leader in Me program below or by visiting this link here
